Dear Fr. Kevin and members of St. Patricks, Batavia AND Amherst campi;

Greetings in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! Fr. Kevin, what a wonderful idea for communication among the people! I look forward to getting to know the folks that can not attend on Sunday in Amherst through the blog.

Blessings to you all through Christ, and I hope you all have a beautiful day! Hope to see many of you tonight at Shahin's house in Clarence!

What a beautiful morning for a praise and prayer walk! I will typically arrive at work 30 minutes to an hour early so I can dump my stuff and take a praise and prayer walk in the neighborhood - my time won't start until I get back, but I sure get a good parking spot..... The day just doesn't go real well when I don't get my praise and worship time in (I always get prayer and Bible reading time in before I leave the house, so that is not an issue).

This morning, my son, Jay (James!) was on my mind - he is troubled by his job (he is an assistant manager at Valvoline) and some of the practices at the company - generally good service, but they don't pay their employees very well, and tend not to replace the equipment, so the workers don't have what is necessary to do the job. Jay is 25, and I pray for wisdom for him in his work situation. I would appreciate your prayers, as well. This may be an especially difficult time for our family, as I feel that God IS calling Jay, and I believe that he will have to be broken before he responds......

I also felt led to offer praise and thanksgiving and pray for all of the folks at St. Patricks - and unexpectedly added "and all those I do not know..." How prophetic! I hope to be able to name you all soon!

Christine,

We are praying for your son that God will reveal His love to him, and bless him in his work.
