Bishop Ortiz Visit June 17

Our annual visit from The Diocese will take place on Sunday June 17, 2012.  If you would like to be confirmed in the faith (class required) or be received into the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church, please contact Fr. Kevin for more information.

Bishop Ortiz serves as Auxiliary Bishop of the Northeast Diocese under the Ordinary Archbishop Craig Bates who is Patriarch of the ICCEC. 

Ash Wednesday

Our Ash Wednesday convergence worship service is at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night.  WE ARE NOT IN THE MAIN SANCTUARY.  Take elevator to the third floor and keep turning left till you find the upper room :) ACC will be in the main tomorrow, so if you want a United Church of Christ service go there :)

We love Busted Halo's Lent Calendar!  It will start working on Ash Wednesday.

Ash Wednesday and Lent?

You might be wondering why Christians like us are into Ash Wednesday and Lent?  Isn't that just a stupid Roman Catholic thing?  Nope.  It's a Bible and Christian thing.  Two minutes from now you will know this too!

 

As We Enter Lent

Pancake Supper Sunday

 Sunday: February 19 after church we will have a "Feast Before We Fast" pancake supper.  This will take the place of our regular last Sunday of the month potluck.

Cost is $2.00 per person

A $3.00 per person donation to raise funds for Love Uganda 2012 bible project may be given, but is not required. 

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday February 22: 7:00-8:00 p.m. Evening service at church to begin Lent. Come and receive ashes, and begin a season of spiritual growth.
